01Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing or using SapaFree ("SapaFree," "we," "us," or "our"), whether as a job seeker, candidate, employer, recruiter, or visitor, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use and our accompanying Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice.

To use SapaFree, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By registering an account or applying for jobs, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

02SapaFree Platform Services

SapaFree provides a curated digital recruitment platform connecting African tech professionals and global remote talent with high-impact software engineering, product, data, design, and developer opportunities. Our core services include:

• Job Discovery: Aggregated, direct-hire, and verified job postings across leading tech companies in Africa and internationally.
• AI Resume Matching: Semantic parsing algorithms that analyze resume compatibility against published job criteria.
• Application Tracker: Centralized dashboard for candidates to submit direct applications, monitor status updates, and manage interview invitations.
• Employer Portal: Dedicated management suite for verified hiring managers to publish openings, review applicant CVs, and assess screening answers.

03User Accounts & Security

When registering an account on SapaFree, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and session tokens.

04Job Seeker Terms & Representations

As a job seeker using SapaFree:

• You warrant that all information in your profile, resume/CV, and screening responses is truthful and reflects your own professional qualifications.
• You grant SapaFree the right to transmit your submitted application materials, resume, and contact details directly to the hiring employer for roles you apply to.
• SapaFree never charges candidates application or interview fees. Any individual requesting payment on behalf of SapaFree should be reported immediately to fraud@sapafree.com.

05Employer Terms & Posting Guidelines

Organizations and hiring managers posting positions on SapaFree agree to comply with strict quality guidelines:

• Corporate Identity: Employers must register using verified corporate email domains (generic public email addresses are prohibited).
• Legitimate Roles: All listings must correspond to active vacancies. Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or roles requiring candidate fees are strictly banned.
• Non-Discrimination: Postings must comply with applicable anti-discrimination laws regardless of gender, race, tribe, religion, or disability.
• Candidate Privacy: Candidate data obtained via SapaFree may only be used to assess candidates for the specific opening applied for.

06AI Match & Compatibility Scoring Disclaimer

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to compare resume keywords, experience signals, and technical skill sets against published job descriptions.

07Intellectual Property Rights

The SapaFree brand, website design, UI code, databases, algorithms, and proprietary assets are owned by SapaFree and protected by international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Company trademarks and logos displayed on job postings remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed under fair nominative use.

08Prohibited Conduct & Fair Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Automating abusive scraping, crawling, or data harvesting beyond standard search engine indexing.
• Submitting fraudulent, malicious, or deceptive resume documents or screening responses.
• Attempting to breach, probe, or compromise the security of any SapaFree system or network.
• Sending unsolicited marketing or spam to employers or candidates.

09Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

SapaFree is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SapaFree and its directors, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

10Termination & Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in activities harmful to users or the platform.

11Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation prior to commencing formal arbitration or court litigation.
